About
SR was founded in June 2007, during the Second Restoration by the DRC in an effort to utilize the massive explorer population to help restore pieces of the ruins of D’ni artwork, music, and culture. SR disbanded after the last Cavern shutdown.
Recently, SR was able to acquire new funding and support for our project. Through generous support, SR has reorganized and is in the process of managing logistical challenges of returning to the city.
SR is working hard to bring the Cavern back to the explorers. Since the last shutdown, many individuals have traveled to and from D’ni, however with the major structural issues, restoring the City has been a colossal challenge. In the wake of the DRC’s departure, we are all hoping for a chance to explore once again—and SR hopes to be able to release new areas of the city proper as well as its Ages in the near future.
We know that the Cavern community is still alive and vibrant, and many explorers have made restoration attempts on their own. SR believes in partnering with these individuals to release pieces of D’ni history to the public. We also provide projects for explorers to work on. You can find out more about those on the Projects page.
Our Team
SR would be nothing without its diverse and experienced members. Currently, we are over 20 strong and growing. Our chief members include:
