    Among some of the many job opportunities at Subterranean Restorations, the group has a number of positions for nearly any talent. These positions are split between general work for one of the teams and specialized work for some of the more delicate or sensitive projects. Please contact us if you are interested in any of the following:

    Team Positions

    Survey Team

    Assist in documenting the areas in which SR works. Experience in analyzing structures and areas, as well as cartography, required.

    Cataloging Team

    Help with the recovery of artifacts at the various cavern areas and determine whether they are able to be restored at a later date. Past experience in archaeological sites required.

    Restoration Team

    Restore and repair structures and artifacts of the D’ni and other cultures. Degrees in engineering and archaeological restoration required.

    Assistant Positions

    If a full position isn’t right for you, there are some wonderful assistant positions to help you get the hang of working in as unique an environment as the D’ni city is. Currently available positions include:

    Archaeological Assistants

    We are currently looking for assistants to help us by photographing, labeling, categorizing, and mapping the locations of objects in various sites. A background in anthropology, archaeology, and D’ni language is useful, but not necessary.

    Restoration Associates

    Our restoration associates help clean and straighten up areas after they have been examined by an archaeological crew. Helpful qualifications include the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, a background in janitorial labor or general maintenance, and a good attitude! Everyone will be considered.

    Restoration Specialists

    Restoration specialists assist in more specialized restoration tasks. Our needs in this area change frequently, so be sure to check by often to see if there’s an available position that matches your qualifications!

    Translators

    If you have a basic knowledge of the D’ni language, come join our translation team! All applicants will be required to translate a paragraph of English into D’ni during the interview.

    Fine Arts Restorer

    This highly qualified position calls for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented person with prior experience in restoring paintings. Applicants must be able to work closely with specialists in chemistry and paints.

    Database Entry

    Subterranean Restorations has its own database system, which the successful applicant will be required to learn. We are currently seeking detail-oriented candidates with prior data entry experience to work closely with our archaeological team categorizing and listing artifacts.

    Other

    Electrician

    Applicants should be able to maintain and operate an elderly (non-D’ni) electrical generating system and be able to supervise Restoration Associates in supplying power and light, in a safe manner, to various areas in the City Proper . Previous electrical experience is a must.

    Security Teams

    The site Subterranean Restorations manages has been plagued by looters and vandals for unknown reasons. To this end, Subterranean Restorations is looking for volunteers to work security at our various sites. Applicants should be prepared to work rotating shifts guarding entrances, walking patrols, and occasionally guarding specific artifacts. There is some risk of bodily harm, as there have been several encounters with armed looters. Applicants with a security or military background will be highly valued!
