Hello again!
Our Survey teams are progressing nicely (we can still use survey team members) and have found a treasure trove of documents in the vaults. Now we need people interested in helping us translate them.
If you are interested, contact me here or in the thread linked above!

A lot has changed over the last year. The cavern has been quiet, without the majority of explorers here. However, it has also been busy with the few who remained. As the cavern returns, so do we. Our teams have been working this past year on stabilizing, mapping, and restoring new Ages and areas of the D’ni district we reside in.

At present, we are just beginning to return and need explorer help to fill our ranks. We have a number of projects that need extensive work but also many which need just the care and attention of a few. This group has always grown based on the passion of our fellow explorers and today we look forward to restoring D’ni with your help.

This is only just the beginning. There are literally worlds to explore. We are growing slowly and, with your help, will be able to bring those worlds to all our fellow explorers.

Safe linking,

Hello fellow explorers!
Our teams have recently found new areas of the Cavern and we are in desperate need of people to map and survey these areas. We have several positions (as well as a coordinator position) open.
Contact me here or reply to the thread link above!

SR is reevaluating the projects we have. Many areas are dangerous or require too great an investment of resources to achieve. As such, expect existing projects to be removed or have their current restoration phase reduced. Also expect some of our new projects to appear. This process will take some time.

Hey guys,

This isn’t the grand announcement you’re looking for. The rest of the team just wanted to make sure people knew what was going on. We’ll be announcing something “soon.” Maybe “shortly.”

The SR team has been spending the last year exploring and analyzing the area around the Museum, our focus. In the process we have found dozens of links to other Ages and areas. More than what’s on the projects list right now.

So, the teams have been assigned to prioritize what we have found already and to determine what’s feasible. As always, we run on help from our fellow explorers. Again, just a heads up.

It’s been an eventful few weeks and the crews at Subterranean Restorations have been working on a number of projects. The Restoration Projects page has been updated to make projects easier to find. We still have a number of open projects which require explorer submissions.

Professor Clarke has returned to the cavern after securing a new source of funding for the restoration! While we won’t have a public announcement for a while, we’re eager to get back to work on this great restoration.

Greetings again! It’s been a long time since the last update and the group has been hard at work at some new and exciting projects. While we can’t say too much about them right now, we hope you enjoy them when they’re released!

The Cavern has been quiet these past few months, though we did experience a substantial earthquake on August 21st. Survey crews reported that an eastern section of the Museum of Art suffered a large crack on that side. Thankfully, no one was injured and the area is still stable.

On the funding front, Professor Clarke aquired some temporary funding to asist with project restoration.

As always, please check out the restoration projects we have open to explorer restoration. We hope you decide to asist us in this grand restoration!

Well it has been quite a while since the last update and little has changed. The team has been hard at work and the funding situation has lead to the web team (including myself) having to get down and dirty in the restoration effort as well. Time has been made, though, to make sure this site is up-to-date on our latest work and we are working on other projects.

Further work by the survey team has finished cataloging the first set of residences. The Restoration Projects age has been updated to reflect that. Work will now focus on the office building and larger residential building adjacent to the museum.

Professor Clarke has some contacts he has interested in the prospect of restoring D’ni, however he stresses that it will still be quite a while before work resumes at a good pace.
